An Example of Hate and Stupidity

Ok, I have been meaning to write about this witch for about a month now. Everytime I begin to though, I become infuriated. Todays discussion is going to be about Ann Coulter.

Let me start by saying that rarely, and I mean very very very rarely do I just outright not like someone without first meeting them. Ann Coulter however is one of these people.

I know. You're probablly saying, "but you said everyone should have an opinion." Well, it's true that I said that, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with it or have others opinions forced on me.

Anyway, here is what started the whole Ann Coulter post. I was watching the Today Show like I do every morning and she was on there talking about Bush's secret spying on Americans. Well during that segment she said something comparing it to Japanese Internment during World War II. She basically said that internment of Japanese Americans during World War II was a good thing. Her saying that made my jaw drop. Even Bush the first in 1990 said that it wasn't.

Later that day I went over to her website and found this article. In that post she says the following.

Note the following about the Japanese internment:

1) The Supreme Court upheld the president's authority to intern the Japanese during wartime;

2) That case, Korematsu v. United States, is still good law;

3) There are no Japanese internment camps today. (Although the no-limit blackjack section at Caesar's Palace on a Saturday night comes pretty close.)

Comment number three ranks right up there as the most prejudicial, racist comment I have ever heard. I am just waiting to see where the swastika is tattoed.
