Hal Jordan

Ok, it is not a well kept secret that Hal Jordan is my favorite comic book character. As a matter of fact, if you look back through my posts, you will see one saying that I got a tattoo of him. I said that I would post a pic of it and never did. Well, after much waiting, here it is.

There it is folks. Hopefully soon he will have some friends. As money permits, it looks like the left arm is gonna turn into a Green Lantern themed sleeve. Next up, Kyle Rayner in his current Ion incarnation. If you wanna know why I got GL and not some other superhero, feel free to ask.

Almost forgot. Thanks to Dave Waugh at Jinxproof in Georgetown for the work. He also took the pic.

National HIV Testing Day

For those of you who may not know, today is National HIV Testing Day. I can't harp on this enough people. If you are gonna play play safe. If you are gonna play, get tested regularly. Though condoms reduce the risk of HIV infection, they do not make the risk zero.

Be responsible people! Play safe! Get tested!

For those in the DC area, check out Whitman-Walker Clinic. They offer free quick HIV testing. You can find the times and locations on the webpage.

Making People Talk English

First off, I appologize for my absence. There have been some personal matters that have been needing attended to. I may or may not post some details later.

Now, here is the fuel for todays fire.

First and foremost, let me state that the United States of America does not have a national language, and I seriously hope that it never does.

Here, we have this moron, Joseph Vento, hanging a sign in his cheesesteak shop saying that you need to order in english or they won't serve you. It's incredible the shear stupidity of this ass. His family came from Italy, so they didn't know English. You know, his idea harkens back to the days of segregation, and let me just say this.

Mr. Vento, for someone who serves 'Freedom Fries', which in and of itself is dum, you certainly are doing one of the most un-American things I have ever heard of. After all, discrimination is discrimination no matter how you look at it.
