Brief Theatre Queen Moment
I hope everyone forgives me, but I am about to have a really queenie moment.
A friend of mine was working on
Caroline, or Change at the Studio Theatre on 14th Street. He had two comp tickets for the closing show and gave them to me. I took another friend, Scooter.
All I can say after sitting through the show is wow. The story was very moving. The performances were dead on. I was moved to tears during the show a couple of times and still hold them back as I think about it.
This musical made me even more of a fan of Tony Kushners. What a great way to end the weekend.
Despite my best intentions...
I somehow go a week or so at least without posting anything on this here blog. For those of you who read, which I am sure there are not many, I appologize yet again. Maybe someday I will have enough discipline again to make regular posts.
The WeekendAs far as weekends go it was ok. I stayed the night out at TLEBF's(The Lovable Ex-Boyfriend) place Friday night. We got Baja Fresh and proceeded to play EQ2 the rest of the night. Saturday, I went with TLEBF, BigBro, and Daddy Ken to see
Pirates of the Carribean. It was a fun movie though a little bit long after sitting through two and a half hours of
Superman Returns last weekend.
Sunday was a club meeting for the
DC Boys of Leather. My pledge period ended and I was voted into the club. I then went home and had a nice quiet rest of the night.
I guess it was relaxing, not a lot of running around or anything. Until next time people, peace!
